Jam Of The Day: Taxman by The Beatles

In honor of National Tax Day, which is today, by the way. You may want to get on the horn and file an extension before they come for you like Wesley Snipes.

Taxman was written by George Harrison and is featured on the Beatles 1966 album, Revolver. At the time, George and the rest of the Beatles were in the highest earning bracket in the U.K and subject to pay a 95% super-tax. No wonder. Aren’t you glad we live in America where people in the lowest income bracket pay the most? I kid. I kid. Well, not really.
